Romantic comedy  Horror:	- often starts with a voice cover explaining characters.  -often centered around a female character, the film  is usually from her point of view. -usually set in a urban environment - a typical boy meets girl scenario. -small communities in isolated places. -weird locations: lakes, old houses, woods etc. - often places with history ( abandoned houses, hotels and asylums.)	- The big plan, 50 first dates, no strings attached, Notting hill, 500 days of summer, love actually. The grudge, the gift, the ring, saw, the human centipede, Annabelle, sinister, the conjuring, paranormal activity franchise.

Musicals: Comedy:  crime:

- Enthusiastic people - usually a love story based around main characters -realistic settings -usually very over the top, dancing singing etc. -usually occurs in bright places, locations that are known for social events. Teen comedies usually appear in high schools. - usually an idiotic person, that is clumsy/stupid. -usually a victim of crime int the film - urban setting - usually a scary criminal.
